A urodynamic study is advised for people with urinary incontinence, urine leakage, painful urination, increased urinary frequency, frequent urinary tract infections, and frequent urge to urinate. The urodynamic testing studies the bladder contractions and its ability to withhold urine and release, bladder pressure, remaining urine in the bladder after emptying, point of the urge to urinate, urinary flow rate, and muscle, nerve, and sphincter activity around the bladder.
