We all are attracted to a glowing face because it gives you happiness, confidence, and attractiveness. So, why not keep it healthy and glowy all the time. Instead of using harsh chemicals, you can try some natural remedies to keep your face glowing.

Natural Remedies to Make Your Facial Skin Glow

Skin is a very important part of everyone's life. Skin is a reflection of one's personality. Younger, fresh, and healthy looking skin attracts people and creates positive vibes around you. On the contrary, unhealthy skin repels them. So let us try to keep our skin healthy and younger.

I always advise my patients that healthy food, good sleep, exercise, and natural skin care are the best friends of your skin. If you miss any of these, your skin is going to suffer.

  • Sleep is the most crucial factor in keeping your skin, mainly facial skin, younger and healthy. Minimum 7 to 8 hours of peaceful sleep will definitely keep your skin healthy. You will feel refreshed and happy. However, it is very difficult for many people to sleep for more than six hours, hence they suffer from many health problems. If you cannot sleep for more than six hours at a time, I would advise you to take a few minutes rest in between your work hours and try to get involved in some kind of exercise like yoga, weight lifting, or swimming. This will keep your body healthy and toned. There are many effective yoga poses for sleep issues.
  • Nutritious food like fruits and vegetables provides lots of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to your body. These nutrients are essential to keep your skin healthy and make you look younger. Fruits and vegetables contain vitamin A, B, and C with other minerals. Juicy fruits like watermelon, banana, apple, and strawberries are very healthy for the skin. Green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, broccoli, and tomatoes are full of healthy vitamins.
  • Eating fish once or twice a week will provide your body vitamin E, which helps to glow your skin. Many skincare products contain fish oil, and many people apply fish oil directly over the face to get glowing skin. I usually do not prefer the direct application of oil over the face due to its bad smell and sensitivity. Many people are sensitive to fish oil.
  • Nuts like almonds, dates, cashews, pistachios, and raisins are good antioxidants. A couple of this everyday would help to nourish your body with lots of excellent and essential vitamins and minerals.

Some Natural Remedies to Keep Your Skin Glowing:

  • Apply Berberis Aquifolium mother tincture. Mix 10 drops of Berberis Aquifolium liquid in 25 drops of rose water and apply all over your face with cotton balls. Let it remain on the face for 30 minutes and then wash it off with plain tap water. Apply this once a day for one month, and you will definitely see the positive results.
  • Apply the paste of turmeric, milk, and honey once a day. This paste will remove all kinds of dark spots and will keep your face glowing. This paste can be applied to any body part like hands or legs. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties; hence, it acts well in treating acne or pimples.
  • Soak two almonds overnight. Next morning make a fine paste of these almonds and either add a spoon of milk or rose water. Add a pinch of Sandal powder and mix it well. Apply this paste every night before going to bed. Let it remain for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off with tap water. The almonds and Sandal can improve the fairness of the face and remove small pimples and thus help to maintain the fresh look on the face.
  • Rub your palms together for two minutes, and once the heat is generated in your palm, apply it all over your face. The heat from the palms works like magic.

If you suffer from any skin condition, kindly consult your physician before starting any of the ideas mentioned above. I hope you find this article useful.
