It is a skin condition characterized by redness and visible blood vessels on the face. Though the causative factors are not known but may be associated with environmental and hereditary factors. There are four subtypes and the main symptoms include tiny, pus-containing red bumps on the skin, typically seen on nose, cheeks, and forehead. Few factors may worsen the condition like alcohol, emotions, cosmetics, hot drinks, spicy food, etc. There is no specific cure but severe cases can be managed through a laser, microdermabrasion, avoiding the risk factors, etc.
