About "Chemotherapy"
The use of medicines to prevent cancer cells from growing and dividing is called chemotherapy. Chemotherapy drugs act by inhibiting cell division, target the food source of cancer cells, trigger apoptosis, or cut off the blood supply to the tumor. The drugs can be given orally or intravenously. The common medicines used are Anthracyclines (Epirubicin), Taxanes (Paclitaxel), 5-fluorouracil, Cyclophosphamide, and Carboplatin.
