Bed-wetting, otherwise called nighttime inconsistence or nocturnal enuresis, is the involuntary voiding of the bladder at night, which is commonly seen in children. It is not a sign of lousy toilet training but just a normal phase of your child’s development. Things that can be done to manage bed-wetting are:
• Limit fluid intake in the evening.
• Avoid giving caffeinated beverages to the child.
• Encourage the child to void his bladder twice before bed.
• Avoid constipation, as it can affect bladder voiding.
