You are always the person who knows the situation and is best if you consider discussing things within yourself. This may sound weird while hearing for the first time but it works.

You can weigh the situation within yourself and analyze the pros and cons without any bias. In a way, this is much better than discussing it with someone else since you will have nothing to hide.
