Hi doctors i would like to get answer about the possibility of linking between those patient's who uses drink camel milk and the effectiveness of adminsterining lidocaines2% injection localy when they come for A dental procedures, as they believe the dose isn't enough to feel numbness of the anesthetised tissue
As far as I know, patients should get advised to stop drinking camel milk at least 2-3 days before anesthethic procedure.
And you are right more anesthesia is required. This is because of vitamin C content in high amount. This vitamin speeds the time needed to metabolize the anesthesia. The faster they get metabolized, more anesthesia is then needed.
But that is dangerous to administer high amount of anesthesia.
So better advise the patients to stop drinking camel milk at least 2-3 days before the procedure. Should resume immediately after procedure to speed up the recovery process.
