Hello Dr Albana, thanks for putting this question over here

According to latest recommendations HPV triage is indicated in case of ASC-US and in case it's negative no further programme screening is required and depending on patients age it's been recommended to repeat pap smear at it's usual time ( 3 or 5 yrs interval)
And if HPV becomes positive then refer directly for coloposcopy

This has been recommended by cervical check programme of republic of Ireland and has been mentioned in their screening programme guidelines

    Thank you Dr.Nadia.

So should screen for HPV first? Then decide for management?

    Thank you again.
