Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I get stomach pain occasionally. Sometimes it will be severe and go automatically after two to three hours. I thought it was a gas problem, but I do not eat anything that causes gas. I am 44 years old and five feet and four inches tall.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Where exactly the pain occurs, in the upper or lower abdomen?

Is there any white discharge or burning urination?

Most probably, it is acidity and gastritis.

Do you also have nausea, bloating, burping, increased pain from food, acidic water feeling in your throat, or chest burning?

These are the other symptoms that may be associated. You should get examined by a local doctor once.

You should avoid a fatty, oily, and spicy diet. Have some walks after having food instead of taking a rest. You should get prescribed tablet Pan DSR 40 (Domperidone and Pantoprazole) milligrams or Esomeprazole and Domperidone combination before breakfast once a day for two weeks. For immediate pain relief, you can have antispasmodic like tablet Dicyclomine 20 or Hyoscine 10 milligrams whenever needed upto three times a day.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
