Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have abdominal pain in the left side area of the stomach. It might be because of the sexual intercourse we had two days back. The pain goes away and comes back a few times. The pain is not too severe, but it goes and comes back. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I thoroughly read your query and understand your concern.

Abdominal pain in the left sidea of the stomach after sexual intercourse could be caused by a number of things, including muscle strain or sprain, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, or other conditions related to the reproductive system. If the pain is intermittent and goes away on its own, it may not be a cause for concern. However, if the pain persists or worsens, or if it is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, nausea, or vomiting, it is important to seek medical attention. It is important to communicate openly with your sexual partner about any pain or discomfort you are experiencing during or after sex. They may be able to adjust their approach or technique to help minimize any pain or discomfort.

Hope this has addressed your concern.

Regards.
