Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 32 year old female. I took Breeky for abortion two months back which completed successfully. Now, I have not yet started menses.

Please advice.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Normally, the periods take around two to three months to resume after taking tablet Breeky (Misoprostol). I see you have a high BMI (body mass index). That may be one reason for irregular periods. Also, hypothyroidism needs to be ruled out. Just check your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) and if it is more than the upper limit of normal, do consult a doctor nearby for starting treatment. In the meanwhile, try to cut down your extra calories and do workout.

Hope this helps.
