Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am four weeks pregnant and want an abortion. My prolactin level is 43.55 ng/no. I am unmarried and do not want to disclose it to my parents. Please look at the reports and suggest to me how to abort it. Please help.

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your concern in detail and will surely help you out. Before any abortion, we need one ultrasound to look for pregnancy and its location. The ultrasound you have uploaded (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) does not show any pregnancy, maybe as it is quite early. So my suggestion would be to get one repeat ultrasound after a week. And after that, for abortion, you need to get physical consultation as no doctor can give you medicine for abortion on chat as proper consent is taken and some forms are filled. Without this, abortion is not allowed in our country. So get your ultrasound pelvis and blood group and complete blood count done.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Can u give me a prescription for getting the ultrasound?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yes, I have sent the same.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

In my blood reports, my HCG levels are quite low. So, still, can I be pregnant? I mean, this report shows that I am not pregnant, right?

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can not see your HCG report. Can you please upload it again? How can you say that you are pregnant? Did you do a urine pregnancy test?

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I have uploaded the report, doctor. I had symptoms like white discharge, no bleeding after day one of my cycle (only brown color discharge I had for the rest of my period days), swelling near the ovary area, and thyroid levels. I had taken the urine test, and it was negative. But I had taken it before 45 days.

Thank you.

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

See, this report is negative. It shows you are not pregnant, and all the symptoms you describe are not of pregnancy. None of the symptoms you are describing point toward pregnancy. Also, your ultrasound is not suggestive of any signs of pregnancy. So I think you should stop worrying about this.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor.

Thank you for the reply.

Thank you so much, doctor. Whenever I try to have intercourse, it is extremely painful. I cannot take the pain, and it bleeds as well. Can you please tell me why? What can be done to prevent this?

Thank you.

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

This might be due to some infection. Do you have a complaint of vaginal discharge or itching or burning down there or any abdomen pain associated with backache? And how much is the bleeding after intercourse?

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Yes. I have vaginal discharge, and itching is there. Also, I have lower abdomen pain in between. Bleeding once inserted is around a teaspoon, then continues for 1 to 2 hours on drops.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

So, for now I suggest taking

1) Tablet Fluconazole 150 mg single tablet in the afternoon after food.

2) Tablet Secnidazole 1 gm, two tablets in the night after food for one day.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

But the pain is unbearable. Please suggest some solutions.

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If this problem persists, a longer course of antibiotics is required.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Ok, doctor. Is it for infection?

Answered by Dr. Natasha Bansal

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yea, for the infection.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
