Hello doctor,
My front two teeth have abscesses and bumps. Is it serious?

Thank you for your query.
I have reviewed your query and the image provided (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). It is an abscess. Since you have been taking Clarithromycin and associated same group of drugs, maybe you have developed resistance to the drug. I suggest taking Metronidazole 400 mg for three days thrice daily, after food, as it will fight against the anaerobic bacteria. If you have pain, have Diclofenac 100 mg twice daily after food. Also, take Pantoprazole 40 mg, half an hour before food, once daily for acidity or gastritis. Also, an X-ray will be needed to confirm the diagnosis. Continue with the antibiotics and consult your dentist.
