Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 21-year-old female who is 5 feet 11 inches tall. For the past five days, I have been experiencing nausea and headaches. In addition, my stomach hurts whenever I throw up. I got my first Depo-Provera shot a week back and had unprotected sex for two days. However, he did the pull-out method. I am not sure if I am pregnant or not. Please help with it.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to iCliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

It may be due to acid peptic disease. Therefore, I suggest taking tablet Pantoprazole 40 mg and an antacid syrup. Depovera shot action starts within 72 hours. If you are engaged with your partner before that, I suggest you take a urine pregnancy test. Please revert with the test results.

I hope this will be helpful.
