Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 21 years old with a height of 5 feet and weight of 105.82 Ibs. I have acid reflux for the past four years. I have had symptoms like fever, dry cough, sore throat, chills, acid reflux, and vomiting five months back. I recovered from fever and acid reflux but I still have sore throat and dry cough. I took tablet Biogesic 100 mg. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have upper respiratory tract symptoms, possibly pharyngitis or common cold with acid reflux. Do you have a runny nose, headache, or body ache? Follow the below steps:

1. Gargle with lukewarm water two to three times per day.

2. Avoid cold food or water.

3. Maintain adequate hydration and eat a nutritious diet.

4. I suggest Diphenhydramine cough syrup twice daily for one week.

5. If you have a body ache or headache, I suggest you tablet Paracetamol 500 mg once daily.

6. I suggest tablet Omeprazole 20 mg once daily before breakfast for acid reflux.

7. Maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
