Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a lot of pimples and dark spots. When my pimple starts to go away, they leave dark spots, and I also have combination skin, where my skin is really oily and dry sometimes. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

1. I have seen your query and concern and need to examine your photograph to confirm the grades of acne.

2. Acne vulgaris is a common skin problem in adolescents, and in adulthood, it involves pilosebaceous follicles or oil glands and is therefore seen to involve areas where oil glands are dense, like the face, chest, back, upper arms are common sites of involvement.

3. In your case looks like grade 1 to grade 2 acne.

4. You can start using Faceclin gel (Clindamycin 1 % and Nicotinamide 4 %) topically during day time over pimples and Microbenz 3.5 % (Benzoyl peroxide) gel in night hours over the whole face for around two to three months.

5. For cleaning your face, you can use face care face wash (Niacinamide) twice daily.

6. You have to do certain dietary restrictions like not taking spicy oily food, junk food, milk products, and non-vegetarian foods using lots of water which hydrates your skin.

I hope you find it helpful.

Thank you.
