Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from acne and I cannot get rid of it. It started when I was 16 and now I am 18 it has not been cured yet.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. You seem to have grade two to three acne and will require oral antibiotics too. I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Take a capsule Doxycycline 100 mg once a day.
  2. Apply Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide gel on the acne once at night in tiny amounts without rubbing it.
  3. Use Benzoyl Peroxide face wash.
  4. Avoid too many sweets, full cream milk, and chocolates.
  5. Also, avoid too much sun exposure while on Doxycycline or use sunscreen.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
