Q. How to get rid of sudden and severe acne breakouts?
Hello doctor,
I am having an acne breakout. I have a lot of small pimples all across my forehead, cheeks, and between brows. I had recently used a BHA-salicylic acid 2 % toner and serum along with a face cream. I had also started applying almond oil to my hair from which a small quantity had accidentally dropped on my forehead. I have never had so many pimples on my face. It seems like a reaction to something which I am not able to figure out. I had surgery for epigastric hernia last month. Kindly suggest a treatment.

I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below.
- You can use Acnesol A Nano Gel 15 gm (Adapalene and Clindamycin). Take a small amount of the gel on your finger and apply it as a thin layer on the affected area that is clean and dry.
- Take plenty of oral fluids, around 16 to 18 glasses of water a day.
- Avoid salt water for washing your face.
- Wash your face with water repeatedly when you return from work if you have been exposed to pollution.
- Use mild soaps containing glycerine.
- Do not apply makeup until your problem gets resolved.
- Give steam vapourization to your face as it will remove dirt and help in relaxing muscles and relieving a tired face.
- You can take the tablet Augmentin 625 mg for five days in the morning and night.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.
