Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My skin tends to break out often and it often breaks out on my chin, jawline and lip area. I have tried several things to get rid of my acne and over all the rest of my skin does not look too bad, just breaking out in those specific areas I have mentioned. I eat pretty healthy, drink lots of water and tea. I take vitamins. I know those breakouts are mostly due to hormones, but what can I do to finally have clear skin?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I appreciate you seeking help. The root cause of acne usually lies with dietary and lifestyle irregularities including excessive physical or mental stress. I would advise the following for relief: Clarina cream (Himalaya herbals) to be topically applied, twice daily, after properly washing face with neem face wash. As such, the cream is purely herbal and is free from side effects. However, should you have any problems using the same, you can discontinue its use. 1. Take a multi-vitamin tablet, once daily after breakfast for the next 21 days. 2. Take a glass of freshly prepared buttermilk to which half teaspoon of fresh turmeric powder is added, once daily. 3. Keep your diet and lifestyle streamlined. Take plenty of leafy greens and fresh fruits daily. You should include carrots, lettuce, spinach, broccoli, egg whites, fish, melon, etc., all in your diet. Fresh fruits like apple, pineapple, watermelon, pears, peaches, grapes, etc., all are helpful in this condition. 4. Do stay well hydrated. Take at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Unsweetened lemon water taken empty stomach daily morning also helps. 5. Exercise for at least 30 minutes and practice de-stressing or relaxation exercises daily. Avoid strenuous studies and also sedentary habits, if any. 6. Make sure you attend to nature calls promptly and stick to a schedule on a daily basis. Regular elimination of waste is critical to good health and also for the avoidance of such skin related issues. 7. Avoid tea, coffee, sweets, pickles, high calorie, and greasy, fatty, salty and oily foods including fast foods. Hope the above-mentioned shall help take care of your issues. Take care and all the very best.
