Does allergic conjunctivitis cause itching in the eye?

I suggest the medicines including Visine Allergy (Visine A) eye drops (Naphazoline HCl 0.025 % and Pheniramine Maleate 0.3 %) three times a day for a week. Olopatadine, 0.2 % eye, drops twice daily for a month and taper them to once daily for another month. Ideally, since your itching has persisted for three weeks, I would prescribe you Olopatadine 0.2 % twice daily for a month and then taper it off to once a day for another month. Wash your eyes with cold water thrice a day. This will relieve the itching. Consult a specialist doctor, talk to him or her, and start the medicine with their consent.
