Hello doctor,
I gave a man a hand job and got some semen on my fingers. About 10 minutes later, I went to the bathroom and inserted my finger into my vagina to check the vaginal mucus and determine if I was ovulating. Would it be possible for any sperm to have survived on my hand after the 10 minutes (there was no moisture) and impregnated me? Please advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Yes, there are chances of getting pregnant.
Better I suggest you take emergency contraception to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. If you are not fertile, there are certainly no chances of conceiving. Still, you did not provide a detailed history of your menstrual cycle. Assuming you to be fertile, go for emergency contraception as soon as possible within 72 hours of the act.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
Hello doctor,
Thank you. Even if the sperm had dried, is there a chance? Please help.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Okay, if your fingers were completely dry (not even damp), then there is no chance of pregnancy as once sperms become dry, they are inactive.
Thank you.
