Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 20 years old. I had unprotected sex with a pull-out method though he did not ejaculate. After 20 days, I had my period, but I was confused if it was implantation bleeding or periods. I did take a pregnancy test 10 days after my period, and it was negative. Currently, I have heavy breasts. Am I pregnant?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.

As per your description, these symptoms could be due to hormonal imbalances. But as you have irregular periods, it could be an ovulatory cycle too. Get your pelvic ultrasound to see the endometrial thickness and other causes of your symptoms. Get your thyroid profile and hemoglobin test, also. It is not due to implantation bleeding. It will help if you take a high-protein diet, vegetables and fruits. You can take iron and calcium supplements after consulting a specialist doctor. It is normal at your age to bleed like this due to hormonal changes. No need to worry about it.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
