Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I recently got my health checkup done. I had got the same workup done one year ago too. I have attached both the reports for your reference. I went through a course of Nexito 10 mg for five months last year. My current BP is 80/130 mmHg. I am not able to exercise now. However, as a routine, I have three glasses of a concoction of warm water, honey, and lemon juice every morning before brushing. After having this, I do not have anything for the next 45 minutes to one hour. Please advise me on what should be done.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the reports and they are fine (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Calcium is on the lower side for which you should increase the milk consumption. As such, there is no need for any medicines. The vitamin D is just normal this year. However, it was low last year. I suggest you get one vitamin D level checked after eight weeks. Another finding is a mildly elevated amylase which is acceptable as it there is a mild elevation and secondly you do not have any symptoms. However, it is better if you can get one screening ultrasound of the abdomen done. If you are having alcohol, try to reduce its consumption. Overall, there are no significant abnormalities that are worrisome. I hope this helps you and kindly get back if you have any doubts.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I am a teetotaler. In fact, I do not have tea, coffee, and cola as well. Last year, I had a sonography done in which they noticed a cyst. But, since the cyst was not leaking, the doctors suggested to ignore it.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I think it should be a pancreatic cyst or some other cyst. So cysts can certainly cause mild elevation of amylase. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
