Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

After my wife's abdomen pain, the following tests were conducted (reports are attached). (1) CT Abdomen and pelvis plain and contrast (Female). (2) Blood tests - Creatinine, Liver Function Test, ESR, Complete Blood Count. Please examine the above test reports and diagnose any underlying issues (besides anemia) and suggest suitable treatment or medicines accordingly. Presently, the following medications are being taken by her, 1) Razo-D (for acid reflux). 2) Colospa (for abdominal pain). 3) Zanocin 200 (for bacterial infection). 4) Met XL 12.5 (regular usage for the heart). Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. Thanks for your question, and I can understand your concern. I have gone through the reports you have attached (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). I suggest continuing the same treatment. Also, I suggest adding iron supplements, an oral tablet once a day after lunch for two months. Also, I suggest getting a stool test for occult blood examination as she has anemia with an abdominal infection. So we have to rule out blood loss from the intestine. Iron supplement: Tablet Orofer XT. I hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Finally, I wish good health to your wife. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
