Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I was on antipsychotics and high BP medicines tablet Kloza, tablet Spenzo, tablet Cilacar, and tablet Apiz for six months for schizophrenia. I stopped the treatment and switched to homeopathy, after which I am suffering from hypersomnia and myalgia. Please suggest the next steps? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You should not stop your medication suddenly. You may have withdrawal symptoms. I suggest you to stop it slowly.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for your reply. I need some help with myalgia and hypersomnia. I will let you know or consult a psychiatrist if I experience psychosis. Can you suggest some diagnostic tests for myalgia and hypersomnia? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

There is no specific diagnostic test for myalgia, but you can go for EMG (electromyography), CPK (creatine phosphokinase), or ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) for it. In addition, there is a polysomnography test for hypersomnia.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
