Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I want to ask a question about an experience I had approximately 28 years ago. I started with an alternative boarding school when I was 18 years old. I do not know what exactly the event leading up to it, but in the end, I ended up lying on my bed, shaking and, what it felt like, losing myself as if a huge blanket covered my mind and I was gone. I know this sounds insane, but I recovered from some anxiety and depression issues, but I have never really regained 100%. This has left me timid, shy, unconfrontable, and overanxious. I do not know if any of this makes sense, but if you would or could shed some light on this, it would be much appreciated.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

In our life, this happens at some point when we have some really painful and life-changing experiences time. It is the great healer and it heals a lot but even then, some of us are left with some residues and find it impossible to return to ourselves. If you like, you could discuss your problem in detail here, or you may go to a local therapist, but therapy would definitely help you.

Thank you.
