Hi doctor,
I am a 23-year-old male of height 176 cm and weight 85 kg. When I wake up in the morning, I feel exhausted, and my eyes become light red, and water comes out from my eyes. And it seems like eyes are burning. The entire day, I feel exhausted. And very often, I feel some charge or current is flowing through all veins of my head. And I am continuously putting on weight even when I am doing workouts daily. I feel irritated the whole day because of this. And it makes me overthink too. I feel anxiety because of this. These things are killing my happiness. I am having this problem since childhood. I am not on any medication. Kindly give your opinion.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
You seem to suffer from depression and anxiety issues. There are certain chemicals in our brain called serotonin and dopamine that control our mood, thoughts, behavior, sleep, appetite, etc. In some individuals, they may get disturbed, which leads to issues like you are suffering from.
Try doing exercise, pranayama, meditation, etc. It will release endorphins and improve brain chemicals. Please get thyroid hormone levels checked sometimes. That may be the cause of the problem. Is there a family history of depression or anxiety or any other psychiatric illness? My advice would be to consult a local psychiatrist. so that assessment and treatment can be started.
I hope this was helpful.
