Arachitol

Arachitol is the brand name for an injectable vitamin D supplement. Except for a few foods, such as fish eggs, vitamin D is synthesized in the body using sunshine as the primary source. Arachitol is prescribed when dietary requirements are not satisfied, and a deficiency is present. It can be used to cure osteoporosis and strengthen the immune system. Arachitol cannot be self-administered. However, it is a safe supplement with a few potential adverse effects like weakness and dysgeusia (metallic taste in the mouth).
