Hello doctor,
I am having pain in my right arm (elbow, wrist, ring finger, and thumb bone). I consulted an orthopedic who suggested for X-ray and some other tests but all tests were normal. He told me to consult a neurologist, where I was suggested to have an NCV test. All tests came out to be normal but I am still having severe pain in my arm for the last many years. Why so?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
It seems you are suffering from severe vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and vitamin B12 (cobalamin) deficiency. Since your reports are normal, the cause of the constant pain is mostly due to weak bones and weak nerves. Bones get stronger by intake of calcium and vitamin D3, and nerves (which carry pain sensation) get stronger by intake of vitamin B12. So, I suggest you have the best nutrition and exercise daily. I also suggest you get levels of vitamin D3 and B12 tested as well as calcium and start taking vitamin supplements as well.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
