Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

This has been going on for about four to five days. My oxygen level is 93, my pulse is 95, and my heart feels different, like maybe it is skipping beats or something. Should I go to the ER?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Do you have any history of diabetes or hypertension? These risk factors for atrial fibrillationare quite common for people of your age. It is better to go to the emergency room and get an ECG (electrocardiogram) to confirm the diagnosis.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I think it is related to my Breo inhaler. I am going to try not to inhale for so long tonight. If that does not work, I will go to the ER.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Yeah, that is fine, but it is better to get an ECG (electrocardiogram) if the complaints persist. It would help if you kept in mind a few red flag signals or dangerous signs like:

1. Constant and persisting palpitations.

2. Feeling dizzy or sudden reeling sensation.

3. Sudden episodes of falling.

4. Any sudden episodes of a blackout.

5. Any sudden weakness or Severe breathlessness

Any of these signs are dangerous.

Kindly revert in case of further queries.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
