Hi doctor,

My daughter is 1 year 9 months old. She is suffering from a severe cough. We are using Codex plus and Montair Lc kid for a cough. Can we continue to use Polybion L and Trifer syrup along with cough medicines?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Please temporarily stop Polybion L (Cyanocobalamin, L-lysine, etc.) and Trifer (elemental Iron) when you are giving cough medications. There is no harm that would occur but the child will be overburdened with medicines. Start these supplements after the child is well and off cough medications.
