Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Is this possible that person has normal BP and after that, when he stands more than 10 minutes or sits on a chair for more than 10 minutes, his mind becomes weighted (means not proper attentive)? Is this situation possible in lower back pain whereas the MRI test is clear? Guide me what is the matter. Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Firstly, I would like to let you know that the history you have provided is insufficient and not clear. Having said that, I would like to assure you that, yes, it is possible to have lower back ache with a normal MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) report. A lower backache is caused due to multiple reasons: Muscle strain, disc prolapse, history of trauma, ligament tear, fracture of vertebrae. It might also be due to any underlying organ pathology. In your case, since MRI was fortunately clear, It is most likely just a muscle strain. You do not have to worry about it. As of now, I suggest: Regular exercise is the first and foremost way to relieve backaches, you need to exercise at least three times a week, consume at least eight to nine glasses of water a day, consume milk as it is rich in calcium, and try to start calcium chewable tablets, use a hot water bag or a towel soaked in warm water and sponge the area with it, use Diclofenac liniment in the area in case of intolerable pain and follow the above advice and you will be totally fine. Do not worry. Do follow up with a more elaborate history as the query regarding BP was not clear. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
