I have balanitis since for few months. Symptoms started after taking cifran oz 500mg morning and night for 5 days for UTI infection. So now I have taken 2 tablets of flucanazole 150mg along with regular application of clotrimazole cream. Right now the pain and inflammation seems to be subsided very well however I still have mild discomfort and sensitivity with the inner penis glans during my regular day to day activities. Any idea when will this resolve?

Balanitis is a common problem. It will be resolved soon. Please maintain hygiene and wash the glans and prepuce with soap and water daily. If Balanitis or Balanoposthitis recurs, then you have to undergo Circumcision. You need clinical examination too to exclude BXO or other diseases of glans. Hence you can contact your local urologist and get treated.

Any idea how long does it usually take to resolve? For now it's been 1.5 weeks and I'm not able to wear any tight clothing..

It can take a little more time. Can you upload a photo of the diseased part? Then it would have been convenient for me to diagnose.
