Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

So I used the juice out of fresh lemon to treat a minor acne spot on the side of my face (cheek) last week. I applied the lemon just overnight. After two days, I saw a small white scar. Therefore, I decided to stop doing this. Is this permanent and will this prevent hair growth on my face?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Can you forward a few pictures of the affected area to guide you through precisely.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have attached a picture. As you can see it is the area in the middle.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I saw your picture (attachment removed to protect patient identity). There is a white patch on the left side of your cheek. Your concern is irritant contact dermatitis. Do not worry you will get back your hair. Start using Episoft AC cream (Moisturiser) twice daily morning and evening. This acts as moisturizer and sunscreen. Start Adgain plus hair supplements daily one after breakfast for boosting up the hair growth. Report to me after 30 days.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the clarification.

None of these medications are available here. Can I use Aloevera gel as an alternative to Episoft AC? Also, will the hair grow naturally if I do not take Adgain plus because this is impossible to get it here and how long does this usually take (it has been one week already)?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Use Alovera gel twice daily and Neutrogena sunscreen 50 SPF during noon time. Hair grows naturally once irritation subsides. If possible try to have any brand hair supplements with Biotin 5 mg once daily after breakfast to support natural hair growth if not have a cup of sprouts and boiled egg in your breakfast. Report to me if there are no visible changes after 30 days otherwise not required.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
