Q. Is it okay to take bipolar disorders medication and what will be the prognosis?

I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. But I am confused about what my prognosis or outlook will be. Also, I am planning on taking my prescribed medicines and going to all my appointment. But will it help me? Kindly help.

The medicines for this condition will help to keep the illness under control; even if the condition relapses, the dosage of the medicine can be adjusted so as to keep the condition under control.
