Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have some dark spots around my private part that looks as black color boils. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Since when do you have them? Are they present on the other side or anywhere else? Do they have itching? Please tell me since when do you have them? They are more likely to cause fungal infection. Please answer the above questions so that I can prescribe you medicines.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have noticed them since last week. It is around the same area and nowhere else. They are not itchy or painful.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Actually, such spots are seen in herpes infection or a fungal infection like candida. But as you mentioned, they came last week and not itchy and painful. Then other reason could be due to infection from shaving the pubic hair.

I would recommend you to take tablet Cefixime 200 mg twice daily after meals for five days, tablet Cetirizine 10 mg once daily for five days.

Apply Beclomethasone and Clotrimazole ointment three times a day after cleaning it. Wear fresh underwear and wash them regularly. After five days, we will see if they disappear or continues. Then we will go for further testing and treatment.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
