Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have always had bloating and indigestion issues and constipation is added to this. A dietitian advised me to add more fibrous food, but I fear it might flare up my indigestion and bloating.

Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There is no harm with more dietary fibers, so keep taking more fibers. Also, do regular exercise like walking, especially after dinner. Do you have any stressors in your life? Any anxiety issues?

I think you might have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Please reply to the questions above so I can better guide you about medicines.

Thank you.
