Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 26 years male. I ate curd rice in the afternoon and again in the evening, followed by a mango and juice at night before sleeping.

After which, I got severe pain in the upper stomach region and backache that disturbed my sleep. I took long breaths, sips of water every ten minutes, gulp saliva, and frequently changed the sleeping position to get rid of the pain. The pain continued for the next day, but its frequency reduced by 60 percentage. I noticed bloody urine and extremely dark yellowish urine the next day.

Would you please give your suggestion?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern.

Pain in the upper abdomen can be associated with acidity, but as you mentioned that you had blood in the urine and dark color urine that indicates urine infection or kidney infection; in that case, the investigation is required. I would suggest you do an ultrasound examination of the abdomen and urine routine to help in diagnosis.

I would suggest you take tablet Pantoprazole 40 mg once a day for three days before meals.

Kindly let me know whether it is the first time you have such urine? Do you experience any pain while urinating? Are you under any medication?

Thanks.
