Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Below is the results of some of the tests and few results are highlighted. Can you please let me know why these are highlighted and what do they mean?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your reports (attachments removed to protect patient identity). In the first image, your lipid profile is absolutely fine and need not worry about the bold figure which is a ratio of two. Next, your vitamin D is low, so need to have supplements for it. You should sit in an early morning sunlight and have tablet Uprise D3 60,000 units once a week for eight weeks, then once a month for next six months. This will correct your vitamin D deficiency.

In the third image, your eosinophils are mildly elevated, and RBC count is fine. Eosinophils may be elevated if you are having any allergies or if not then it may be due to worm infestations in intestines. Then it is better to deworm yourself once with tablet Albendazole once bedtime and repeat it after two weeks. Repeat eosinophils count after 2 to 3 weeks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
