Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a mild fever, body ache, and a severe headache. I took tablet Dolo 650 mg, but the body ache is not getting better.

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Body ache is a common symptom in viral fever, bacterial fever, or dengue. If it is dengue, there may be bleeding tendency, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Aceclofenac, etc., for the fever or body ache may aggravate bleeding tendency, which may become fatal. If it is not dengue, taking tablet Paracetamol 500 mg or tablet Dolo 650 mg is safe. If one tablet cannot control your body ache, I suggest you take two tablets at a time, which may work.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
