Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had sexual intercourse a few days ago. I immediately took I-pill within six hours of having sex. However, the penetration did not take place but the condom was ruptured. His semen was all over my vaginal area and I soon wiped it off. Will there be any delay in my periods? Is there any chance of me getting pregnant?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

If you have a regular menstrual cycle of 28 days, then there are chances of pregnancy if I-pill is not taken in the proper dosage. After, the withdrawal method of sex, you might have unpredictable periods. This may occur due to the side effects of the I-pill.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
