Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My aunt has been diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer with T2, N0, M0. Could you please recommend the appropriate course of treatment, the estimated time for recovery, and her life expectancy?

Kindly advise.

Answered by Dr. Rajesh Gulati

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern and would be happy to help. Stage 2A is an early stage of cancer that is treatable with surgery. However, chemotherapy and radiation therapy depend on the biopsy report. Also, hormonal and targeted therapy depend on ER (estrogen receptors) and PR (progesterone receptors).

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
