Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a breastfeeding mother of a one-year-old baby and want to lose weight. If I exercise in the morning and evening for about half an hour each, will it affect my breastmilk quantity? Kindly help.

Answered by Dr. Sunita Kothari

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. You can start giving semi-solid food to your baby during the day and breastfeed the baby at night as the baby has turned one. So there is nothing to be concerned about. You can have milk and continue the exercise to stay healthy.

Thank you.
