Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been having a little trouble in breathing. I feel my problem increases more in an air conditioned room. I was on the following medicines for the last three days without much improvement. They are tablet Augmed 625 mg, tablet Pan-D and tablet Cetzine. My blood report declared a higher ESR of 25 mm. I have attached the laboratory reports for your reference. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your query and would like you to know that I am here to help you. The x-rays and blood tests (attachment removed to protect patient identity) reveal a chronic problem. By chronic, we mean that the problem has been there for quite a while and in your case, it must be for more than six months. Most patients with allergic causes of breathlessness find that their problem increases more in air conditioned rooms and you too feel the same. Though, the trouble in breathing would have been started recently, the disease process must have been in the body much before that. Hence we need to have sustained treatment for six weeks to cure this issue. Consult your specialist doctor and get it cured. By cure we mean, no breathlessness and ESR less than 10 mm in one hour (erythrocyte sedimentation rate). I hope this helps. Thank you and take care. regards
