Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am caught by very bad cough and cold. Please suggest some medicine for dry coughing.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Since when are you suffering from above problem? Is there any throat pain? Probably you may be suffering from acute viral rhinitis with bronchitis. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. I suggest you the following medicines:

  1. Tablet Gudcef CV (Clavulanic acid and Cefpodoxime Proxetil) 200 mg twice a day for five days.
  2. Tablet Azithromycin 500 mg twice a day for three days.
  3. Use syrup Ascoril-D (Dextromethorphan hydrobromide, Phenylephrine hydrochloride) two teaspoons thrice a day after food.
  4. Tablet Alday-DC (Levocetirizine) twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly. Take care.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply,

I am having this for last two to three days along with mild pain.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

No problem, you can also take tablet Paracetamol 650 mg thrice for pain. No problem, it will give relief. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
