Hello doctor,

I have a white bruise on my penis under the foreskin. I do not have any symptoms. Will it heal on its own?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

If there was unprotected sex one needs to think of sexually transmitted infection. I suggest you to get a few tests done.

  1. Treponema pallidum hemagglutination.
  2. DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test.
  3. Herpes simplex virus test.
  4. HbsAg (hepatitis B surface antigen) test.
  5. Urine test.
  6. If not, it can be a simple bacterial infection. You can use ointment T- Bact for local application and Doxy (Doxycycline) 100 mg twice a day for 5 days.
  7. If there is itching, you need to think of a fungal infection. Use ointment candid B for local application and for itching. Take a tablet of Cetirizine once a night.
  8. Make sure you wash your genitalia twice a day morning and night and use normal water and avoid using cold or hot water.
  9. I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
