Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Could you please recommend a good muscle gainer (supplement) with no side effects? I have started going to the gym for a month.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Hello. Thanks for writing to us.

Your weight is much lower than expected for your age. Working out and gaining muscle work best when combined with a healthy diet, which is more important than the protein supplement. If you are not a vegetarian, I recommend wrapping up your workout in the morning and having 4 to 6 boiled eggs, either egg whites and one yolk. More than one yolk per day can raise your blood cholesterol levels. The best source of protein is egg whites. Try having chicken for lunch and dinner, not fried chicken, but grilled chicken. It is extremely beneficial to one's health. You can drink up to 1 liter of skimmed milk daily (in your case, normal milk will suffice because you are underweight).

Increase your intake of pulses, such as dal, which is high in protein. According to studies, you can also eat more soybeans, which have more proteins than chicken. Try to include these foods in your diet. If you combine an unhealthy diet with weight lifting, you will begin to lose weight. So prioritize a healthy diet. In terms of protein supplements, you can get anything that contains pure whey isolate. They have no adverse side effects. However, you risk developing kidney stones if you do not drink enough water while taking the supplement. Supplements are available online. Choose anything that contains whey isolate. Do not exceed 2-3 scoops per day.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
