Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 22 years old. I have bumps recently appeared on my genital area about two weeks ago. I am not taking any medication till now, and there are black spots in that area. But I am not sure.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the attachment (attachment removed to protect patient identity). These white bumps are molluscum contagiosum. It is a viral infection. It is contagious and spreads from person to person through contact. It is treated with various modalities like electrocautery destruction, cryotherapy, topical KOH (Potassium hydroxide) application, and chemical cautery. You must meet your Dermatologist for treatment. Please get it treated as early as possible.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
