Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I usually have protected sex, but I did not for the last two partners. I also masturbate excessively, and I have noticed small bumps on the shaft of my penis, but there is no burning sensation or discharge. Unfortunately, I cannot get tested today, so I am worried. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Please answer the following questions.

1. Is there any pain in the lesions?

2. Do you have any discharge from the penis while passing urine?

If possible, please send one close-up picture of the lesions. Though it could be just a small infection like folliculitis, we should rule out herpes lesions. Therefore, I suggest you get an IgM herpes test to rule out herpes.

Hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

There is no discharge or itching in my penis.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I do not think this is serious if you do not have any discharge or itching. This likely indicates contact dermatitis, which could happen due to friction and allergic reactions and usually go away in some days. I suggest you take an anti-allergic drug for a few days. However, please consult a physician, discuss with them and start taking the medications with their consent. Also, avoid friction on that part for a few days, and always use condoms and lubricant during sex.

Hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
