Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

About two weeks ago, I used a sex toy, and a day after I experienced burning sensation and some minor swelling which went away in a week. I thought it was an allergic reaction to the silicon. But now, I have this feeling and this is the only way that arouses my clitoris area. Like all day with no relief, and it has been there for about three days. Could this be due to some kind of UTI? I read somewhere about restless genital syndrome. I really just want this to stop, This is unbearable and is actually causing me physical pain and I have a nervous system disorder in my legs. Currently, I am using Lexapro and Amitriptyline.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to iclinq.com.

It appears like a vaginal infection along with UTI (urinary tract infection). For the above better to get a urine analysis, urine culture, and high vaginal swab done. Kindly follow the following

1. Follow strict hygiene.

2. Use condoms to avoid sexually transmitted infections.

3. Use a sitz bath to avoid irritation.

4. Avoid cosmetics.

5. Just use a razor to remove hair.

6. After collection of urine and swab take tablet Doxycycline (Lactose Monohydrate, Yellow iron oxide, and Triethyl citrate) 100 mg 12 hourly and tablet Metronidazole (corn starch, Magnesium stearate, Gelatin, Black iron oxide, Titanium dioxide) 400 mg eight hourly for 14 days.

7. Drink plenty of water and juice.

8. Always use condoms.

9. Try avoiding the unnatural process of sex.

10. Do a complete health check-up. Collect your laboratory reports and discuss them here. I hope I cleared your doubts.

Thank you.
